Is your Lymphatic System Blocked?

One of the things that Medicupping does SO well is to facilitate your body in moving your lymph freely and efficiently. This is why it is so helpful in supporting your liver in filtering out environmental toxins and strengthening your immune system.

"The lymphatic system is a network of tissues and organs that help rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted materials. The primary function of the lymphatic system is to transport lymph, a fluid containing infection-fighting white blood cells, throughout the body."

Unlike your circulatory system, the lymph system does not have a pump to move the fluid through your body. This is why exercise is so important in staying healthy. But with our sedentary lifestyles, sometimes we need extra support. Enter Medicupping!

Medicupping therapy utilizes glass cups and a machine to create suction on the body surface. These cups are moved over the skin using gliding, shaking, popping and rotating techniques while gently pulling up on the cup, and are parked for a short time to facilitate joint mobilization or soft tissue release. This suction can reach deep into the soft tissue or can work superficially to pull inflammation and toxins toward the surface so that the skin and lymphatic system can readily eliminate them. Scar tissues often release quickly, despite the age of the injury or keloid tendencies.
