I wasn't sure what it was at first since it has been so long since I have had an issue with it. But, it cropped up almost immediately after eating some cheese earlier this week and I am certain that some life stressors contributed to it as well. Eczema. {sad face}
It is commonly known that eczema can be triggered by dairy and stress but what I didn't know is that there is a connection between Eczema and Staph. I found this from the University of Michigan Medical School....
So knowing this, I did these two things:
EnergyWork.
I did energywork on myself twice a day. During my morning meditation and right before bed. It calmed me down and reduced my stress response very quickly. I also focused energywork on the rash and it stopped itching almost immediately. {ps...I am learning a new technique that is quite powerful and very quick!}
Essential Oils.
Knowing there was a potential for staph made it easy to choose the essential oils. It is known the Lavender and Tea Tree kill staph and they are also being studied for the treatment of MRSA. So, that made it easy. Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils to the rescue!
Here is my recipe:
1/2 teaspoon of Jojoba Oil
5 drops of Lavender essential oil
3 drops of Tea Tree essential oil
Mix together and apply to area 2-3 times a day.
